Excellence in communication has its award

Last Thursday, December 15, the winners of the “National Communication Awards 2011” (in catalan) presented by the Generalitat de Catalunya, the Catalan regional government, were announced. Much to Zyncro’s  joy, Dídac Lee, our founder and alma mater, was presented with an award in the Internet category.

Why give an award to a figure like Dídac Lee?

Communication nowadays has varied in its models and forms, evolving towards a more horizontal structure in which anyone with an Internet access is capable of generating and above all, publishing and circulating content, giving their opinion on current events and life in general. Bloggers have been proclaimed the fifth power, with the ability to provide new data and new perspectives to everyday events taking place around us.

From his own social communication channels (Twitter, Facebook…), through his companies such as Zyncro (in which he champions the optimization of corporate communication, as you already know) and from within Fútbol Club Barcelona, Dídac Lee has made his information flows democratic and has always worked on the premise of sharing knowledge and optimizing those flows.

Now the Generalitat de Catalunya has recognized his communication efforts by presenting him (presenting us) with this award.

Thanks and congratulations, Dídac, for communicating… and for communicating about us.

The awards ceremony will take place on Thursday, December 22 in the Palau de la Generalitat de Catalunya, Barcelona at 7pm.

At Zyncro, we applaud this acknowledgement. We are working so that this way of communicating instilled by Dídac becomes more visible and more tangible in organizations, in order to improve productivity, competitivity and business processes on a global level.
