Zyncro, the first company to obtain a Bully Award for the third consecutive year

    Estimated Reading Time: 2 minutes

Yesterday was one of those days where effort and hard work from the entire Zyncro team was rewarded.

From October 7 to 9, WhiteBull Summits 2013 took place in Barcelona. It is an exclusive event that brings European technology companies together with global investors, development executives of enterprises and professional service entities that help foster the enterprise technology ecosystem in Europe. During the closing ceremony, they announced the winners of the Bully Awards in their three categories (yearly, young y longhorn). These categories recognize the most innovative enterprises and enterprises with the most potential within the aforementioned ecosystem.

On this occasion, Zyncro found itself among the finalists in the longhorn category, that includes companies in growth phases and expansion. It wasn’t until the end of the gala when they gave the names…and Zyncro’s name appeared as a winner. With this third award, Zyncro becomes the first company to manage to win this award in three consecutive years (2011, 2012 y 2013), each year in a different category.

This award is a recognition of the relentless work of our entire team in the development of an idea, its’ execution in the form of a product and a useful solution for enterprises, and the market penetration and international expansion.  After our appearance in  Gartner’s Magic Quadrant,  and being awarded the Golden Stevie Award for Best New Product B2B of the year, to win the new Bully Award gives us more drive to continue improving our work, to find new goals and pursue technological innovation daily.

Thanks, Farley Duvall and thank you to the entire organization and to the Bully jury for trusting in us again. We will not disappoint you 😉

2012, a year of awards for Zyncro

    Estimated reading time: 5 minutes

Hard work and effort from the whole team has meant that 2012 has been a fantastic year for Zyncro, full of recognitions and awards, in addition to its international growth which includes several countries, the most recent being China, and a ten-fold increase in our multinational workforce. For this reason, we wanted to post a brief summary of the most important awards we have received in one of the last articles for 2012.

First of all however, thanks to everyone who, one way or another, has played a part in winning these awards for Zyncro in 2012! Zyncro is made up of an incredible team of people and a fantastic range of collaborators.

    Best Workplaces

Just a couple of weeks ago, Zyncro was chosen as one of the best companies to work for, in the Great Place to Work awards. This recognition is of the Zyncro team, which promotes values such as motivation and involvement in the project, always with a spark of fun.

    European Business Awards

At the beginning of November, the jury of the European Business Awards, international awards that recognize excellence, innovation and best practices in the European business sector, announced that Zyncro had been selected as one of the 14 winning companies for Spain in the innovation category of the 2012/13 edition. We are lucky to share the winner’s lineup with companies such as everis, Bankinter, Iberdrola and Sage Spain, among others.

As we have already mentioned, this year for the first time, participants in the European awards had to present a candidate video. We’d like to take the opportunity to once again thank everyone who voted for us.

Would you like to see the video again? 😉

    Eurocloud Awards

Zyncro consolidates itself as one of the best startups of the year at international level, having last October received the award for best European startup from EuroCloud. We are particularly proud of this award because we have been chosen from among the best European leaders in cloud solutions for 2012.

At the beginning of this month, we also collected the award for best startup of the year according to EuroCloud Spain, thanks to Eurocloud for this dual recognition.

    Bully Awards

For the second year running, Zyncro has been given the Young Bully award, which recognizes companies that seek or have received “Series A” funding (startup companies).

Once again we would like to thank the organization and jury of the Bully Awards for continuing to believe in us.

Awards for Business Excellence from COETTC

Zyncro also collected this incredible recognition for its daily innovation in technology development, designed to improve business management. COETTC (Colegio de Ingenieros Técnicos y Peritos de Telecomunicaciones de Cataluña) awarded us with the ex aequo award for Technology Innovation as a result of the crucial role that innovation has taken in making business activities of today more dynamic, and in which Zyncro plays a part.

    La Caixa EmprendedorXXI Awards

The La Caixa and ENISA Emprendedor XXI Award supports entrepreneurial spirit and is widely recognised at a national level as well as being an important award in both economic terms and in the monitoring and support of the winner.

On this occasion, Zyncro was selected as finalist in the crecesXXI category, which recognizes companies over 2 years old, with the most significant results, an ambitious growth plan, and a highly driven team capable of applying and carrying out that plan; requirements that Zyncro fulfills, given its ongoing goal to grow and expand its market.

Would you like to know more about us? Would you like an award-winning solution to improve your company’s way of working? Don’t wait until next year: Try Zyncro for free! 😉

Zyncro, finalist at the Bully Awards (once again!)

    Estimated reading time: 3 minutes

This week is turning out to be a great one at Zyncro! Having received news that we have been awarded Best Startup of the Year according to EuroCloud Spain, and that we will compete within the same category in Europe, we have also heard that we have been chosen as finalists at the Bully Awards 2012 that reward innovation on a European scale!

Market strategies, business idea, company growth in terms of the number of customers and adaption to customers’ specific needs, as well as expansion in new countries are some of the criteria assessed at the Bully Awards, and some of the reasons why we won the Young Bully in the 2011 edition.

The 2012 nomination demonstrates the hard work and great effort made by the entire Zyncro team, headed up by Lluís Font and Dídac Lee. So once again we will reap the rewards for having chased after our goals with international recognition, this time highlighting our future potential, international growth, and constant improvement that has enabled us to pull ahead of the competition and place us as one of the leaders in the TMT (Technology, Communication Media, and Telecommunications) sector in Europe.

Thanks to the jury of the Bully Awards for placing their confidence in us once again. We’re looking forward to Pathways to Exit on October 1–3 in Barcelona :)

Zyncro wins the Young Bully (Bully Awards 2011)

    Estimated reading time: 3 minutes

Didac Lee & Luis Font with the Young Bully award

Thursday was a very happy day at the Zyncro office (almost very – R.I.P. Steve Jobs) as on Wednesday we were awarded the Young Bully prize.  The prize was handed to the co-founders of ZyncroDídac Lee (Chairman) and Luis Font (CEO) during the Bully Awards ceremony at the Xalet de Montjuïc restaurant (Barcelona).

The Bully Awards is a prize of recognition for leading technology and telecommunications firms on a European level and are based on criteria such as excellence, future potential, business ideas, market strategies or technological solutions.  This international recognition places Zyncro among the most important, valuable and promising start-ups on the continent.

Being nominated as one of the 60 finalist companies was already great cause for satisfaction at the time but to actually take away the Young Bully, one of the Bully Awards categories that prizes businesses that are looking for or have received “Series A” funding (businesses that are in their initial phase), confirms that the steps taken up until this moment have followed the correct path.  It provides us with the right amount of recognition and motivation to continue efforts towards achieving our objectives and pushes us forward to look for new challenges, to keep growing and maturing as we have done so far.

Zyncro in August: Wired, El País and Bully Awards

    Estimated reading time: 3 minutes

The month of August, the summer month par excellence in the northern hemisphere, has been a month of action for Zyncro.  As these 31 days are coming to an end, we can now present you with a brief summary of the month’s Zyncro news.

    ***

    Zyncro feature in Wired

On August 15 in Barcelona, Zyncro featured in the well-known and important Wired magazine as a company within the business and innovation field within the technology sector.

We were very proud to appear in this publication and to be considered one of the main next generation start-ups in terms of the European technological companies based in Barcelona.

You can access the Wired article from the magazine website.

    ***

    Zyncro feature in El País

9 days after Zyncro’s appearance in Wired, El País heard about the article and created their own article in Spanish to spread the news.

As described below in this El País article about Wired and its content:

There was a time when holding a copy of Wired under one’s arm was a status symbol.  Appearing in such a publication is a synonym of success and further coverage in the media.  In the last issue of the English magazine, September, a large section is dedicated to start-ups, and how recently created technology companies are European.

    Zyncro, Bully Awards finalist

Lastly, Zyncro received news last week of having been selected as a finalist for the Bully Awards, European-level recognition for technological innovation within the business environment.

There will be 30 winners selected from the 60 chosen finalists in the “TMT” category (Technology, Media and Telecommunications).

Winners can be confirmed via the list of finalists on the White Bull website.

These finalists have also been invited to participate in the second edition of the conference that will be held in Barcelona from October 3-5: Pathways to Exit where prizes will be awarded on October 5.
