    Estimated reading time: 3 minutes

    Zyncro continues to grow!
During the last year it has taken a giant step forward.

To show you everything that Zyncro represents today, and in line with our usual style we’ve created a new infographic. Because once again, a picture is worth a thousand words! 😉

The organizational change towards the Enterprise or Company 2.0 has become more consolidated with a new widespread communication and knowledge management model in companies.

When adopting an enterprise social network, your company doesn’t start from zero. So Zyncro has incorporated features to easily connect with your existing systems, becoming the integrated social tool for your entire organization, which now lets you:

All this as well as existing features:

    • Private work groups for easy and secure collaboration with co-workers, partners, customers or suppliers
    • Document management in a secure and private cloud, accessible from anywhere and from any device
    • Properly organized and integrated tasks for monitoring each project
    • Corporate directory, with contact info on all the people in your organization as well as your external contributors.

Remember, you can download or share this infographic using the following Zlink!

Zyncro launches its chat: private instant messaging for your company

    Estimated reading time: 4 minutes

When we talk about communication in companies, we can classify messages transmitting content into two types according to their characteristics:

    1. Important messages that are transmitted to a group of members of the organization, deserve to be stored as internal knowledge of the company, receive comments and that are of general interest.
    2. Specific messages that require immediate response and are usually exchanged between two people: queries, quick questions, comments, etc.

For exchanging the first type of message, the microblogging system or corporate wall, which acts as an alternative to the email we’re bombarded with nowadays, is the best solution.

However, for more specific, one-off messages, chat or instant messaging technology integrated within the company’s Enterprise Social Network is a better option.

For this reason, Zyncro launched its own chat application in private beta last Friday

An instant messaging application with the following features:

    1. Integrated within the Zyncro interface.
    2. No downloads are required for your computer, as it’s a cloud application.
    3. With 11 basic emoticons to show emotions with your text messages.
    4. Integrated with your network of contacts in your People directory in Zyncro. Your Zyncro contacts will be your chat contacts.
    5. Integrated with your Zyncro status. Both you and your contacts will appear in the chat as:
      • Available
      • Busy
      • Away
      • Not available
      • This tool will only be available for Business accounts, but first…

We’re giving 2 weeks of chat FREE to all those that want to help us test the application and find ways to make it even better!

If you’re interested, send us a mail at zyncroapps @ zyncro.com and we’ll contact you shortly about activating the application.

Start chatting in your Enterprise Social Network and improve your internal communication!

    Guess who… in your company?

    Estimated reading time: 3 minutes

“Does he have a moustache?”, “Is it a girl?”, “Do they wear glasses?”… In the 80’s this game caused a commotion.  There were cards with quirky characters on them and one had to ask questions to work out who their opponent was holding in their hand.  Do you remember?  Guess Who? Is a good “analogical” predecessor to Facebook.  This also applies for the Who’s who in Zyncro.

Digital communication has changed our lives in many aspects but we humans need to put a face to the voices we hear, from our personal lives to the workplace.  In fact this characterisation in the Digital Social Networks is the key to success.

Amidst this era of the individual, it is well known that the true value of organisations is its people.  The potential and capacity of human capital is the difference between failure and success of the business in many cases.

But it is also true that whatever capacity and knowledge there is within the organisation, positions higher up and colleagues further away physically, may never become aware of this.  That talent and those “intangibles” are most visible in environments of the closest proximity.  From further away they remain diluted for the simple reason that they do not know you personally. I am going to show you how to ensure everyone wins the “Who’s who?” in your company.

At Zyncro, your character card is your profile. Completing your personal details is the best way to “promote” your talent and abilities.  If you go to the “Profile” option and then to “Edit Profile” (Register in Zyncro to Access these links), you can include your photograph, the department in which you work and your position, even your date of birth if you want.  This information will make you more recognizable, will help others understand who you are within the company more clearly and will help you personalize your message to everyone else.

But going further still, do you know what you can do? Zyncro gives you the possibility to speak about your “Experience and Skills” where you can include information about your personal experience, outline your CV as well as explain your training.

And, how will they contact you?  In the “Contact Information” area, you can include your contact details such as telephone number, mobile number and other additional details.  Remember that Zyncro is a completely private environment so those details will be safe and only internal collaborators within the company will be able to access them.  In addition, you can integrate your Skype account by going to the “Allow access to my Skype status“ option.  This way, your colleagues will be able to see if you are available and call you with just one “click”.

But the most important thing is yet to come: how can I find the person I’m looking for? The question answers itself: with the powerful Zyncro search engine.  Any data you upload onto your profile gets indexed.  This means, it is “searchable and “findable”.

Do you speak English? Do you have Photoshop skills? Do you have marketing knowledge? Your name could be the answer to many of these questions.
